Performances presents free performing arts that reflect the best of
global culture and inspire community among the diverse peoples of Los
Angeles.
Barcelona-based Ojos de Brujo has garnered wide acclaim for its
adventurous flamenco sound. The heartbeat of the music is the palmas –
flamenco’s rhythmic handclapping – surrounded by vocals, cajon,
turntables, guitars, electronics and various percussion instruments.
Mix in a bit of Catalan rumba, hip hop, salsa, funk, and deep in the
groove reggae and the result is fiery, energetic, and seductive music
that will have everyone swirling to the heady concoction.
Don't miss ODB's first time headlining in Los Angeles...this is their only venue, and their only performance in Southern California!!!
